A Taiwanese show, something like US's Mythbuster, called 流言追追追, put Emoto's work to a strict test in a university lab to see if the crystals' effect can be replicated. Unfortunately, after going through 260 samples over 30 over hours of lab tests, the results prove to be random and no direct link to the messages exposed to the water. It is all pseudo science!
There is also another research done by another guy and he too reached the same conclusion:
"After the lengthy review of Emoto’s research methods and results, I have come to believe that Dr. Emoto is offering pseudoscience to the masses in the guise of defensible research"
