STAR-BASED EXALTATION AND DEBILITATION
- Planets in fall give sudden adverse results.
- MA in 8th sign (Scorpio), VE in 2nd Sign (Taurus) and MO in 4th sign (Cancer) will be strong since they are in their own sign.
They will behave debilitated only when aspected or associated with a malefic.
However, their own aspect on these signs will destroy the signs - MA’s aspect will destroy 8th sign (Scorpio), VE’s aspect will destroy 2nd Sign (Taurus) and MO’s aspect will destroy 4th sign (Cancer).
- Based on his experience, Mercury is actually exalted in Aquarius and debilitated in Leo.
- Rahu and Ketu do not have an exaltation and debilitation sign.
- Saturn is the great delayer and has the power to reverse the above. An exalted planet when associated with Saturn will act as if fallen, destroying the house it occupies and the houses it rules as well. The effects of its exaltation will only manifest in the 2nd half of life.
- And vice versa if a fallen planet is associated with Saturn, it will act as if it is exalted. The effects of its fall will only manifest in the 2nd half of life.
- An exalted Saturn will lose its strength if associated (conjunct or aspect by) with the Sun. The Sun will act as if exalted and Saturn like debilitated.
- An exalted Sun will lose its strength if conjunct with Mercury. The Mercury will act as if exalted and Sun like debilitated.
- A planet receiving the aspect of fall from another planet, the houses rule by the receiving planet will be affected. Aspect of fall happens when a planet aspects one of its 3 debilitation signs.
E.g. the native will suffer from negative effects related to 3H and 6H significations.
NATURAL MALEFIC AND BENEFIC PLANETS
NM in a house gives harm to the LIVE THINGS (e.g. 4H – mother) but give rise to NON-LIVE THINGS (e.g. 4H – property, vehicle). This is reversed if it is a NB.
- A fallen planet involved in an exchange will give good results first, followed by destructive results.
- A retrograde planets will give powerful results (positive or negative will depend on other conditions).
- A planet in the last degree of a sign (29-30 degrees) will give only very weak results (whether positive or negative, the results will be weak).
- RA and KE give results of its sign lord. For example in Taurus, RA will give results of VE. If VE is strong and well-placed, RA will give good results during its period. If VE is badly placed or afflicted, then RA period will bring bad results. Although RA/KE will give results of its sign lord, its period will always be accompanied by mental tension, quarrels, loss of things, family members having trouble, sudden injuries and other disturbances.
STRONG HOUSE
- Planets in exchange will be strengthened and give positive results to the houses under the signs they both rule. The only exception is SU and SA which can give adverse results.
- When a planet aspects its own sign or exaltation sign (exalted aspect), that house will be strengthened. E.g. when MA aspects SC (own) or JU aspects CN (exaltation).
- Aspect Exchange: When two planets have aspect exchange, it means they each aspect the sign of the other. When this happens, ALL houses in signs ruled by both planets will be strengthened.
- A house is strong when its lord or an exalted planet occupies it.
- A house is strong if its lord is exalted.
WEAK HOUSE
- A house is weak if aspected or occupied by a Trik lord (6L, 8L or 12L).
- A house is weak if its lord goes to a Dustana house (6H, 8H or 12H).
- A house is weak when it is receiving an aspect of fall from any planet. Aspect of fall happens when a planet aspects one of its 3 debilitation signs. E.g. MA aspects CN, one of its debilitation signs, making 4H weak. SA aspects AR, one of its debilitation signs, making 1H weak.
- A house is weak when occupied by a fallen planet.
- A house is weak when its lord is fallen.
- A house associated with MA, SA and RA at the same time will be badly destroyed.
- Mar is weak in Gemini based on his experience, and will destroy the house it occupies and also its own houses.
TIMING OF POSITIVE CAREER EVENT (GOVERNMENT JOB)
Start a new government job or a promotion in a government job.
- The sub-period and sub-sub period of 9L + 10L or 10L + 11L, and both houses are strong.
OR
- The sub-period and sub-sub period of SA + JU, and both planets are strong.
- The above are to be seen from both Ascendant and Chandra Lagna.
TIMING OF POSITIVE CAREER EVENT (PRIVATE JOB)
Start a new private job or a promotion in a private job.
- The sub-period and sub-sub period of 7L + 9L or 7L + 11L.
- The above are to be seen from both Ascendant and Chandra Lagna.
- The combination is interchangeable between the two Lagnas, e.g. 7L from Ascendant and 9L from Chandra Lagna, or 7L from Ascendant and 11L from Chandra Lagna.

Situation 1 (true for 85% cases)
- The sub-period and sub-sub period of:
A. 4L from Lagna + RA/KE or
B. 4L from Chandra Lagna + RA/KE or
C. 4L from Lagna + 4L from Chandra Lagna
- For the above (A, B, and C) the order does not matter. For example, for combination A, the 4L from Lagna can be either the sub-period or the sub-sub period lord.
In addition, the 4H should be weak.
Situation 2 (true for 15% cases)
- Replace 4L in Situation 1 to 6L
TIMING OF MARRIAGE
- The sub-period and sub-sub period of 1L, 7L and 12L.
If RA/KE is in the sign of one of these 3 planets, RA/KE can replace that planet.
For example, for a Scorpio Ascendant, RA can replace MA as 1L if it is in Aries.
